indigestion
noun
The word indigestion is used when you have not digested your food properly and have a tummy ache. There could be various reasons, such as you ate too fast, the food was not good, or you exercised too much after eating. When you have indigestion, you may vomit, and if the pain doesn’t go away, you may have to go to the doctors.
We usually say that we have a tummy ache. However, having a tummy ache does not necessarily mean that you have indigestion.
