confinement

Confinement refers to the isolation of a person or many people in a closed spaced from a dangerous scenario happening outside. Confinement is compulsory and one can only leave for justified reasons (shopping for essentials, going to the doctor’s…). It can last one day or many days, depending on the danger. During the covid-19 pandemic, we had to confine ourselves at home for many days to avoid it spreading, and for some people it was sad and boring.
