The word abuse is used when someone deliberately harms another person by picking on them, hitting them, calling them names, laughing at them, putting them down, or saying things they don’t like. If a child feels abused they should tell an adult; i.e., their parents, teachers or tutors.
It is a universal right for children to be protected from all types of abuse.
