wart
noun
A wart is a bump (i.e., a prominence) that can grow anywhere on your skin, but most commonly appears on the hands, fingers, arms, legs and soles of the feet and is usually painless. Warts are bulky, can be of different sizes and most are brown or black. With time, some warts may disappear and some not but if they bother you or you don’t like them, a dermatologist can remove them.
