fracture

noun

A fracture is a crack or break in a part of the body, such as a bone, ligament (which connects bones to joints), tendon (which connects bones to muscles), that hurts a lot. When you break a part of your body, you have an X-ray, they put it in a cast and, when the cast is removed, a physiotherapist recommends that you do exercises to regain movement. However, sometimes and depending on the fracture, you may have to have surgery.
