A cream is a pasty product applied to skin made from chemicals or natural products, or a mixture of both. There are many types: some are medications and others are for skin care, for example, sun cream, body lotion, hand or lip cream, and also cream for when you get hurt or burned, as well as for mosquito bites, pimples or wounds, etc.
You can also use ointments, but it is less common.
