A fever is a reaction to an illness or virus that causes your body temperature to rise and makes you feel very hot. To find out if you have a fever, you are given a thermometer. A fever starts at (38 degrees Celsius) and tenths of a fever at 37°C (37 degrees Celsius). When you have a fever, you usually have a headache and can’t go to school because you have to rest. Sometimes, your paediatrician may prescribe medication to reduce your fever.
In the USA they use Fahrenheit to measure degrees, with 37°C = 98.6°F and 38°C = 100,4°F
