vertigo
noun
Vertigo is the sensation of losing your balance that makes you feel like you’re falling, your head is spinning, and your belly is tingling. You usually feel vertigo when you climb to high places, such as the top of a skyscraper, a cable car, an elevated bridge or a fairground ride, and look down. Sometimes you may also feel dizzy because your cervical bones, which are the vertebrae in your neck, hurt, or because you have an inner ear problem.
