When you have diabetes, you have to follow a special diet and you need to inject insulin, which is a substance that helps regulate the sugar in your blood, which is something people with diabetes need because they do not make enough of it.
There are several types of diabetes; type 1 diabetes mellitus which affects children and teenagers.
