A mole is a round, dark brown spot, that looks like a dot on your skin. It can be annoying in some cases, but it usually doesn’t hurt. However, if a mole grows or changes colour, is it advisable to keep them checked by a dermatologist, as in some cases they may need to be removed.
A mole can also be mistaken with the term freckle.
